The act was adopted by the European Commission on 23 February 2023 as part of a legislative package focusing on connectivity.

The experts from ANACOM presented the Broadband Mapping tool (https://geo.anacom.pt/) which displays information about the electronic communication infrastructure in Portugal and explained in detail the components and aspects covered by it.

Back-to-back with the above TAIEX Workshop, the members of the Independence of Regulators and Broadband Expert Working Group (IRB EWG) met to discuss with the experts from the EU4Digital facility the broadband market analysis which is to be implemented for Armenia and Azerbaijan (Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia have already implemented the broadband market analysis) as well as the EaP broadband report.
