12th meeting of IRB EWG took place in Lisbon, Portugal on 25-26 November 2021 and was dedicated to the discussion and adoption of the Framework Law as well as of the draft laws of each EaP country prepared by the EU4Digital team together with IRB EWG Experts. The questionnaire developed by the EU4Digital Team on DESI indicators for assessment of broadband development state-of- play was discussed and preliminary assessment was presented.
Additionally, the indicators of broadband coverage in Europe as well as data needed to collect for broadband mapping were discussed and it was decided that the questionnaire to be sent to the operators will be distributed among EaP countres, and the experts will make sure the information for mapping is collected before the Broadband Mapping workshop planned to take place in May 2022.
The experts discussed as well the plans for 2022 and Technical Assistance document submitted to EC was presented.
