The Plenary is the decision-making body of EaPeReg, composed by the Presidents, CEOs or designated representatives of each NRA Member of EaPeReg.
National Regulatory Authorities from EU Member States, the EEA and countries that are candidates for EU accession who participate at the work of the Network are considered Advisors without voting rights
Tasks of the Plenary Assembly approved in the Memorandum of Understanding of the Network include:
Taking into account that the Network does not have a permanent Secretariat, the Network is coordinated by the Chair and Vice-Chair proposed by the Members and approved at the Plenary Assembly for a fixed term of one year.
If the Chair is from a partner country, the Vice-Chair should preferably be from an EU Member State and vice versa.
The EaPeReg Chair for 2018 is NCCIR (Ukraine) elected at the 10th Plenary Assembly (25 October 2017, Belarus).
The EaPeReg Vice-Chair for 2018 is RRT (Lithuania).
The Plenary is assisted by the Contact Network, which is composed of a senior representative of the EaP NRAs, NRAs from EU Member States, the EEA and countries that are candidates for EU accession, mandated to represent and take decisions on its behalf, while taking into account the views of the business communities and non-profit organisations, as well as of public authorities in his/her country.
The activity of EaPeReg is organized into Expert Working Groups (EWGs) which work on a specific topics included in the EaPeReg Work Plan and Action plan 2017-2020. The experts nominated in EWGs are responsible for the preparation of the reports and recommendations on the different topics included in the above mentioned documents.
The EWGs reports (documents) will be adopted by the Plenary Assembly.
